Igbo School: Nurturing Our
Cultural Heritage

Igbo School is a vital initiative designed to preserve and pass on our rich cultural heritage to the next generation. This program brings together Igbo children in South Australia to learn our language, traditions, and cultural values in an engaging and supportive environment.

Our weekly sessions create a space where children can connect with their roots, build friendships with other Igbo children, and develop a strong sense of cultural identity. Through interactive learning, storytelling, music, and traditional activities, we ensure that our cultural legacy continues to thrive. Given the risk of language extinction in the diaspora, this program is more important than ever for preserving our linguistic heritage.
